TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE…
We love our volunteers! Do you have some time to help out the Thorp Mill? We need help year-round with a variety of fun projects and tasks. From giving tours to helping at the annual dinner/auction, there is something for everyone.
We welcome volunteers over the age of 16, and offer schedules that are very flexible, so whether you have a few hours or a day every week, or even once a month, we welcome you!
Here is what we need:
Giving tours and other activities: Able to help on weekends from late spring (May) to early fall (October) – for giving tours and helping with activities and events that take place at the mill. Don’t worry – we’ll train you!
Marketing and clerical skills – helping us market and host our dinner auction (Jan-May).
Handy/gardening skills – for helping with maintenance and upkeep of the mill and property.
Creative/crafty skills – year-round for help with open house dates, special events and the dinner auction.
Dinner/Auction –We especially need volunteers for our May 21, 2022 dinner auction. We will need help all day for setting up for the auction, greeting guests, assisting with the silent and live auction items, assisting with activities, and helping with cleanup after the event. No training required.
